Responsibilities:
As an Aerospace Engineering Intern, you will:
✔ Develop theoretical & practical understanding of aerodynamics and fluid flow.
✔ Create 2D/3D aerodynamic models and conduct CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent.
✔ Analyze lift, drag, and pressure distribution for various aircraft components.
✔ Visualize flow behavior using streamlines, velocity contours, and pressure plots.
✔ Solve aerodynamic issues related to flow and drag through iterative simulations.
✔ Perform post-processing and validation in ANSYS Fluent to optimize design.
✔ Investigate aerodynamic parameters like Reynolds number, Mach number, and angle of attack.
✔ Conduct wind tunnel experiments to study flow separation and boundary layer behavior.
✔ Address challenges in turbulence modeling and compressible flow analysis.
✔ Collaborate with testing & engineering teams to refine designs using CFD insights.
✔ Ensure compliance with aerospace standards in aerodynamic analysis and testing.
Required Skills:
✅ ANSYS (CFD Simulation)
✅ SolidWorks (Preferred)
🎓 Earn certifications in:
- ANSYS
- SolidWorks
Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Available for a full-time (in-office) internship
✔ Can start between 17th Feb 2025 and 24th Mar 2025
✔ Available for the full 6-month duration
✔ Has relevant skills & interests
✔ Candidates with a background in hackathons or practical aerospace projects preferred
