CyberEye is looking for a motivated Firmware Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development. You will be involved in building reliable, secure firmware for health monitoring devices using LoRaWAN and Nordic nRF5340 SoC. This role provides exposure to real-world medical IoT applications, signal processing, and secure communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
LoRaWAN Communication
- Integrate and test LoRaWAN stack (OTAA/ABP, region settings).
- Implement OTA upgrades and robust error-handling mechanisms.
- Integrate secure elements for secure boot, encryption, and tamper detection.
Sensor & Driver Integration
- Initialize sensors and flash memory using I²C/SPI.
- Validate data acquisition and integrate existing or custom drivers.
Vital Signs Signal Processing
- Implement algorithms for HR, SpO₂, BP, motion detection, etc.
- Handle data packaging and edge-case scenarios for abnormal readings.
Firmware Development
- Debug, document, and write maintainable embedded code.
- Optimize for low power consumption.
- Assist in board bring-up with hardware teams.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years in firmware development with C/C++.
- Experience with Nordic nRF5340 and ARM Cortex-M33.
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, USB.
- Debugging/testing embedded systems.
- Knowledge of FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar RTOS.
- Version control with Git.
- Understanding of firmware security, power optimization, and hardware schematics.
Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills
- Wireless protocols: BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa.
- Knowledge of cryptography and secure comms.
- IoT/medical firmware development.
- Signal processing for physiological data.
- CI/CD for firmware, STM32CubeIDE, ESP-IDF, MPLABX.
- Other MCUs: ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, PIC.
