Zolon, based in Newport News, VA, is hiring a full-time Embedded Software Engineer – Medical Devices with onsite or hybrid work options. This W2 position welcomes relocation candidates. We are seeking professionals with 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in FDA-regulated environments. Salary for this role ranges from $150,000 – $190,000 per year, plus benefits.
Eligibility Criteria for Embedded Software Engineer jobs in Zolon:
- Minimum 5 years in embedded firmware/software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Prior experience with medical device firmware in compliance with FDA and ISO standards

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging expertise
