AMETEK Embedded Firmware Engineer Jobs in Bengaluru:
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of new products and solutions, focusing on technical improvements of existing products and components. This role involves generating innovative solutions, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, and participating throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, develop, and test embedded firmware.
- Develop firmware for UPS/Inverter/Power conversion products.
- Engage in embedded GUI development and full lifecycle application development.
- Conduct software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in design reviews and software process development activities.
- Integrate software with existing systems and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers for end-to-end integration and debugging.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in developing firmware for UPS/Inverter/Power conversion products.
- Proficiency in PFC/Inverter digital control implementation and state machine design.
- Solid programming experience in C or C++.
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as SNMP, MODBUS, SPI, UART, I2C, RS232, RS485, CAN.
- Experience with USB host/device function drivers, touch screens, ADCs/DACs, graphical LCDs, NAND flash drivers, and bootloaders.
- Knowledge of Linux device drivers/BSP and application development.
- Strong understanding of electronics and hardware customization.
- Experience in embedded systems design with real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with 8- to 32-bit microprocessors/microcontrollers from manufacturers like Freescale, NXP, ST, TI.
- Proficiency in using in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
