About the Role:
Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer II to join our dynamic team at the forefront of Electrification and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Electric Vehicle (EV) software development projects, contributing to requirement design, software development, design reviews, testing, and build and release activities.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Experience with Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) simulations
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and tools like TargetLink or Embedded Coder
- Familiarity with DaVinci tools, ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Scripting skills in M-Script and Python
Compensation:
Based on industry data, the salary for Embedded Systems Engineers in Chennai varies with experience:- 3–5 years: ₹3.6 LPA to ₹7.5 LPA
- 6–8 years: ₹6.1 LPA to ₹16 LPA
Note: Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and expertise.
