Firmware Developer – Pinetics | Pune (Wakad Office)
We're seeking a passionate and smart Firmware Developer with strong grounding in microcontrollers, embedded systems, firmware programming, and OS fundamentals. If you thrive on building robust firmware and collaborating across hardware and software disciplines, we’d love to meet you!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware tailored to customer requirements
- Perform unit tests and quality checks on firmware modules
- Debug firmware, adhere to quality standards, and review peer code
- Document code and development processes thoroughly
- Deliver projects within specified timelines
Requirements & Key Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years in firmware development
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C programming, preferably on ARM microcontrollers
- Experience with embedded products, board bring-up, and debugging tools
- Familiarity with interfacing peripherals – GPIO, SPI, I²C, UART, ADC, DAC, timers, memory devices, displays, etc.
- Understanding of interrupts and ISRs
- Exposure to hardware design (discrete, microcontrollers, memory interfaces) is a plus
Nice-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of C++, ARM Assembly, RTOS, Embedded Linux, networking protocols
Qualification: Engineering graduate from an electronics-related branch, with strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
